COURSE OBJECTIVE
• To understand the decision-making process involved in choosing the appropriate
surgical approach in challenging disorders of the knee
• To hone the motors skills of young orthopedic surgeons to familiarize themselves
with basic arthroscopy set up
• To train surgeons on basic knee arthroscopy: Loose body removal, meniscal tears
synovectomy…etc.
• To explore the principles of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, both hamstring
and bone-patellar tendon-bone techniques
• To train surgeons do arthroscopic ACL reconstruction
